An experienced professional graduated from National Institute of Technology, Trichy who has served BHEL Trichy & Ranipet for around 36 years with focus in Air Preheater Engineering and exposure towards Proposals, Detailed Design, Field Engineering, etc. He underwent training at Alstom Power Air Preheater Company in Air Preheater Design. He possessess good exposure of Engineering design calculations. He has also actively involved in areas including logistics, central field engineering, boiler spares and R &M of thermal power station.


An experienced professional graduated from National Institute of Technology, Trichy who has served BHEL Trichy & Ranipet for around 39 years with focus in Air Preheater Engineering and exposure towards Detailed Design, Field Engineering, etc. He has contributed a lot towards design and development of Air Preheater up to the capacity of 800 MW.


A versatile personality who is being associated with GEECO since its incorporation and had been involved in all the major statutory activities of GEECO. He is currently taking care of commercial-oriented activities and also providing support including but not limited to Finance, Taxation, Banking, Trading, Labour & other statutory obligations. His focus in understanding our customer needs acts as an important factor to bring in potential contracts such as Renovation & Modernisation and also Supply of New APH & GGH which has provided us yet another opportunity to prove ourselves in the industry.

A solution provider who always strive to improve the performance of Air Preheaters. With his 20 years of working experience in various design and size of Air Preheaters, he has implemented many solutions and problem solving techniques at various Thermal Power plants towards performance improvement across 10 countries. He is an expert in carrying out troubleshooting for various condition assessment of APH. His contribution towards GEECO's goal to become a world class organization stands a testimony to his wide knowledge.



A technical expert having an experience of about 41 years in the field of Air preheaters. He holds the pride of having worked in various types of Air Preheaters including horizontal, vertical and routhmuhle and different sizes starting from 18 size to the largest one of 32.5 size. He has done Service supervision for more than 600 Air Preheaters, installed and commisioned more than 50 new APH all over India and abroad. He is a specialist in Kingsbury type of bearings, troubleshooting & Automatic leakage control system of Air Preheaters. He has conducted various performance tests for APH and also including but not limited to R & M works for various type/size of Air Preheaters. He has carried out the replacement of APH in a record break time of 35 days as part of our team.


A key personnel, graduated as a Mechanical Engineer holds worldwide technical experience over 10 countries across the globe. He is a Certified Lead Auditor for QMS, by BVQI. He has done Service supervision, Assessment Study of Air preheater of various sizes for more than 350 numbers across the world and worked in more than 16 different boiler manufacturers APH Designs. He was the Project Manager for R & M of APH. Besides his achievements in the field, he has presented many technical papers at our customer sites and coordinated various training sessions and seminars.


An experienced Mechanical Engineer, graduated from the Institution of Engineers (India) who holds a rich experience in the manufacture of Air PreHeaters, ESPs, Dampers, Fans, Gates, Desalination Pipings, Feed water tanks, Dearators and Economisers & Evaporators for HRSGs. Having 37 years of vast experience in the design of pressure parts for Utility & Industrial Boilers, he has headed the Valves Operations group and manufactured Safety Valves, High pressure Turbine bypass valves, Cold Reheat Non-return Valves, Soot Blowers and Oil Field Equipments in BHEL at Trichy and Ranipet plants. Under his guidance, the new products such as Mobile Autonomous Launchers, Naval launchers for Defence were manufactured, integrated and trial tested successfully. The precision machining of Titanium fuel tanks for ISRO was successfully established by him. He was overseeing the manufacturing and testing of Safety Valves and HP bypass valves for Super critical boilers. Further, he underwent a special training programme in welding Engineering at INTERWELD GmbH, Austria. Presently, he is heading our GEECO manufacturing plant at Pudupatti in Tanjore District.


Having over 10 years of interdisciplinary research experience in the areas of materials and surface characterization, polymers and their coatings, molecular adhesion, finite element analysis and molecular modeling, he holds B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from I.I.T. Madras, Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University (Pennsylvania, USA) and Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University (Illinois, USA). In his research career, he has published 7 papers in the peer-reviewed journals and received several awards and accolodes – Best paper in Adhesion Society 2009 and 2010, Alan Gent and Peebles Award winner in Adhesion Society 2009, Gotshall and Baldwin Fellowships and National Top 5% in Physics and Mathematics Olympiad 2000. Apart from his academic credentials, he has volunteered as a PreScouter Scholar scouting for new developments in Epoxy/Wood Adhesives and as an intern in Illinois Innovation Project in which he worked as a State Representative to identify upcoming technologies.


A Mechanical Engineer who has a rich field engineering experience in Boiler Technology & Troubleshooting for over 30 years, he has served BHEL Trichy for about 38 years and grown up to the level of senior management executive and has offered his services to various power plants up to 500 M.W. in India as well as to other countries like Malaysia, Bangaladesh, Al-Arish-Eygpt, Nigeria & South Africa. His specialities include trouble shooting various type of problems with boiler system like Combustion optimization, coal blending ratio to improve performance of boiler, tube failure analysis, RLA studies, R&M execution, conducting performance guarantee tests, evaluation test of boiler (BHEL make and other make up to 500MW) and Condition monitoring analysis for all rotating equipments in power plants. His proficiency extends to teaching and training fresh recruits and senior executives in various areas of different Power Plants like Combined cycles, Co-Generation, CPP, Power generation for utilities, Oil , Gas, Coal, AFBC, CFBC and Pulverised fuel. Further he has experience in Combustion & performance calculation details of plant, vibration measurements & spectrum analysis.
